due to budget cuts in the VSPO program each Village in theYVC region is asked to submit names and nominate the "oneVillager" (as there's always one such person in each Village) that either;
a. constantly walks around theVillage at certain hours day and night, whose timing is more constant than the earths march around the sun.
b. stays home 24/7 and never goes anywhere (and we mean, never goes anywhere) and whom often goes outside on the porch each night to smoke, gossip on the cordless phone.
The reason being that YVC needs the feral fundz to keep operating but needs to cut back on our ranks of occifers in theVillages.
So, we are turning to those "special" Villagers that can technically and legally be employed and paid to be in theVillage as a designated VSPO at reduced rates than what we would normally pay our full time VPSO's.
Submit your abdominations before 1700 hrs Fri 25 to theYVC orifices.
this Justin.....
Alright, who left their kid unattended at theVillage landing strip?? AGAIN?
If you're missing a cute, adorable 4yr old boy named Zachary denealus john-michaels-Inuit Ehnett, he's in care of Wobbler's ScAir personnel in theCity, leave a message with their main number.
Please hurry, they're almost out of cheerios & milk and Patience with the lil' guy. Our own YVC Daycare takes him in during the daytime and Wobbler's picks him up each night but so far no one has come forward to claim him in 8 days.
This is the 3rd time in 4 yrs that a child gets onto a passenger plane unattended and flies away from theVillage. Pay attention people!!

due to a rash of "homebrew" incidents out in theVillages and the increased sanctions of not shipping out various kitchen condiments and foods in large quantities i.e; syrup, vanilla, jelly, sugar, and various fruits too.
We regret to inform theYVC region that we will further clamp down on "fun" in theYVC region.
Starting with the next mail shipments by flight out to the communities, all theYVC villages are to have all the "fun" they can find in theVillages ready and waiting at the airstrip to leave with the outbound flights.
We are shipping out some "seriousness" and "with the Program" to each Village starting next month of April 1st to be exact.
From now on YVC expects a little more persistence from theVillages when they are applying for various gov't fundz (no pun intended) so get with the program ASAP!
this Injust.....
ice is about to break upon a local river and whom will correctly guess when the ice breaks and win this years Moose hunt permits and a week stay at theYVC hotel suites in the City this year?? Tickets on sale in each regional Village!
Our new Adapt-a-Village PR oriented program is a huge success with our sister Citys in Canada and the 3 Lower 48 states that have so far responded to our letters of inquiry, butt.....
Might we, YVC Admin, state that the candid camera moments that happen in theVillages that we sent disposable cameras to, *ahem*... be a bit more thoughtful?
Yes lil' Chester of Beaver Lake. That is an impressive rack that you took a picture of. To bad it isn't attached to a moose or caribou!! Kudos to you anyway you dear little shutterbug.
And speaking of "racks". Might we suggest that the next time Highland Summit Villagers send back pictures of their local potlatch gatherings.
Please-oh-pretty please!!! Remove the white collar marked "AK Fish&Game" BEFORE you start butchering the moose??
It was bad enough that our YVC Dept Natural Resources / WildLife Director had to explain to AK F&G last month the sudden stop in the signal tracking device so close to theVillage of HS.
Then suddenly the signal started moving really fast (45mph) along the river south to the road boundaries where the signal moved even faster at 65 mph along the highway.
Even our elected Chief (of YVC Inc) was speechless when the State Troopers showed up to theOffices here to talk with him. *sigh*
Now those jokers are sending officers in each week to peruse our Lobby picture-boards with magnifying glasses.
That's all the news for now from theYVC Admin.
